Stefan’s approach to physiotherapy
Stefan believes that good rehabilitation should be individual to the person. He places particular importance on listening to what matters to each patient, explaining things clearly and agreeing a treatment and rehabilitation plan that feels realistic and achievable.
He has a particular interest in sports rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and helping people bridge the gap between recovering from an injury and getting back to the activities they enjoy.
His experience includes working with athletes from sports including rugby and Australian Rules Football, as well as helping people who simply want to become stronger, move better or return confidently to exercise.
Experience and background
Before joining Corsham Physiotherapy, Stefan worked in a busy musculoskeletal clinic in Sydney, where he treated a varied caseload of patients.
Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Stefan served for five years as a Royal Marines Commando. His own longstanding interest in sport, exercise and physical performance subsequently led him towards physiotherapy.
He also holds a Sports Massage qualification and has experience providing pitch-side physiotherapy for rugby.
About Stefan
Outside the clinic, Stefan has a keen interest in CrossFit, strength training and functional fitness.
