Patient receivng Physiotherapy from Staff Member

Stefan Grocott

Chartered Physiotherapist

Stefan is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with experience working in private practice in both the UK and Australia.

He enjoys treating a wide range of muscle and joint problems, from every day aches and injuries through to sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and helping people return to exercise and activity.

Before joining Corsham Physiotherapy, Stefan worked in a busy musculoskeletal clinic in Sydney, where he treated a varied caseload of patients.

Stefan has a particular interest in sports rehabilitation, strength and conditioning and helping people bridge the gap between recovering from an injury and getting back to the activities they enjoy. He has experience working with athletes including those from rugby and Australian Rules Football, as well as people who simply want to become stronger, move better, or return confidently to exercise.

He believes that good rehabilitation should be individual to the person. He places particular importance on listening to what matters to each patient, explaining things clearly and agreeing a treatment and rehabilitation plan that feels realistic and achievable.

Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Stefan served for five years as a Royal Marines Commando. His own longstanding interest in sport, exercise and physical performance subsequently led him towards physiotherapy. He also holds a Sports Massage qualification and has experience providing pitch-side physiotherapy for rugby.

Outside the clinic, Stefan has a keen interest in CrossFit, strength training and functional fitness.
